She had said as much, twice, and both times Betsy had ignored her with the serene determination of a girl who had decided what was best for her friend and did not intend to be talked out of it. "You're coming," Betsy said on the telephone. "You can leave after an hour if you hate it." "I won't hate it. I just don't feel like it."”
