Louisa's Letters Home — November 1958

1958 · Letter #17

“November 16, 1958 Dearest Catherine, I am aware that it has been some time since I have written. I believe the last letter was in the spring of 1957, which makes this gap longer than any I can account for, and I do not intend to account for it now except to say that I have been busy, which is true, and that I have been tired, which is also true, and that there are seasons when a woman does not write because she does not know what to say that will not cost more than the stamp.”

Louisa's Letters is included with your Missing Chapters subscription. $8.99/month or $79/year.
